Cortana doesn't know where you are at unless it gets a GPS coordinate, on phones and tablets it works OK. This process lets you enter a GPS coordinate for a stationary computer so that Microsoft Maps, and Cortana know where you are.

when having Cortana on I lose my Bing homepage, Why !! I have a Nokia 930, Homepage Bing, I tried Cortana, I then needed to search, when I pressed the search button ( more then once ) Cortana took over every time, I took her off the start screen, Bing homepage reappears. Is this as it should be.
